SES at Climate Conference

Nine SES students are participating as official observers at the United Nations climate conference (COP23) in Bonn, Germany. SES is the only American High School to have Official Observer status at these conferences and one of only two High Schools worldwide.  Read their ongoing blog at sescop23.blogspot.com. The students are meeting the most innovative and passionate leaders in the world- they are the people at the forefront of innovation and negotiation concerning adaptation to climate change and justice for those already impacted.

These politicians, economists, scientists, reformers and artists present their ideas and listen to our ideas as well. We are working to contribute to their work related to our changing global climate.

The SES Foundation is our supporting organization in this program and is the official name of our delegation at the United Nations. We have been attending these remarkable COP conferences for the past seven years- please thank these great SESEF volunteers for their great support of our program.
