Seniors at the school will be presenting their Senior Forum Capstone presentations on the evenings of May 16,17,18. These short and focused presentations on environmental topics of which the students feel the public could be better informed are grouped into one hour sessions. We encourage and welcome the public to join us for one or more session starting on the hour from 4pm – 7 pm with the last session ending at 8:00.
Graduating seniors at the School of Environmental Studies complete a series of three capstone activities as a rite-of-passage at the school. These include the forum presentation mentioned above, an environmental service learning project, and a statement of the student’s environmental ethic at the time of graduation. During the evenings of the senior forums student displays of the service learning projects will be set up inside the main entryway for the public to browse.
The accomplishments of our remarkable and successful graduating seniors are due to the work of so many in the community who have supported and nurtured our students’ learning and growth. As a part of that community please join us for these joyful graduation capstone activities.
