Sarah Oppelt Santelli teaches Environmental Science in both Rose and Blue houses. Sarah’s path to science teaching started in her family’s mini-van on numerous vacations around the country, and has continued through her own schooling at places such as SES. Sarah is a graduate of the School of Environmental Studies. She loves guiding students through the SES experience and remembers well, all the joys and challenges of being an SES student.
Sarah received her undergraduate biology degree from Northland College and a Masters in Education from the University of Minnesota. She has previous experience teaching at two different environmental charter schools in Minneapolis and St. Paul and leading outdoor trips for people of all abilities and ages with Wilderness Inquiry.
